I have just completed the expert patient program. My GP suggested it. It has really helped me and I recommend it. You meet people who have long term health problems, and learn techniques to help. You can self refer. I was very anxious about my asthma when I started and it did help.

How do you access the expert patient programme?

It's regional based so each region had it's own contact details. I searched Google, for expert patient program. I found London's, contacted them, and they gave me my local contact details.
