Pollen & Hot Weather 🌞

VERY HIGH pollen levels and HIGH TEMPERATURES are forecast over the next few days.

Allergies to pollen cause hay fever, which can trigger or cause your symptoms to flare up if you have asthma. Make sure you take your hay fever medicines like antihistamines and/or nasal sprays and try to avoid going out when pollen levels are high. It is also important to take your preventer inhaler every day, as prescribed, and carry your reliever inhaler (usually blue) with you, in case your symptoms come on.

Hot weather can also cause your asthma symptoms to flare up, especially if you become dehydrated. If hot weather affects you, try to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day, which is normally between 11am and 3pm, and drink plenty of water.

It’s been a bit uppy and downy but I’ve been following my consultants instructions and it’s keeping things a bit more level! Thank you 😊

Take care too!
