Help with steroids

I have a bad chest infection and was started on antibiotics & steroids last night. Between the steroids & using inhaler I had the jitters & racing HR which kept me awake. Can I take the steroids this morning instead of tonight? Haven't had steroids for a few years but remember being told best to take in morning.

Yes, take your daily steroid dose in the morning - maybe late morning if you've only had the last dose yesterday evening then earlier from tomorrow. You may still have disturbed sleep but it shouldn't be as bad. I hope that you recover quickly now you have treatment but don't hesitate to seek additional treatment if there's no improvement with your asthma and chest infection by day 4 or 5.
