I'm on max daily dose of inhaled steroids, but they are like water for me... they do nothing. I need to use ventolin and paracetamol everyday which are effective. My persistent asthma is uncontrolled and get very bad especially in the early afternoon, and steroids do nothing... Anyone like me?

Previously you said that Relvar had been wonderful for your breathing but you didn't want to take a high dose as concerned about long-term effects (which are much less of an issue then long-term uncontrolled asthma). If the Relvar was helping then it sounds highly likely that the remaining breathing symptoms are not asthma related by perhaps one of the conditions that can run alongside and appear to be asthma.Breathing techniques done when you're symptomatic (so early afternoon) can really help with the mechanism of breathing (very commonly needed in asthma that's been a struggle for a while).
This site has some good techniques - I find the breathing rectangle good but it will be a personal thing and can require perseverance.

You mention paracetamol and in the past have talked about intense pain and ibuprofen really helping. Again pain isn't a symptom of asthma so it would be useful for you to be referred to a respiratory specialist so they can find out what may be going on.
Thank you, Relvar was helping for a while but suddenly stopped to working. I'm now on FP 1000 mcg every day. All they say is a form of severa asthma
