I got a call on sun asking when I could go in. Took me a bit by surprise and so am due to go to Wilson ward in Sydney street on 5/5. I understand no one can visit and I’ve asked my chums and family to keep ringing me.
Just wondered if anyone else had been in there for testing recently who could give me some pointers ? Any help would be appreciated guys.
Husband worried and winding me up which isn’t helping matters !

Hey I am also under Dr Patel, he is lovely and has really helped me and actually listens. He ordered all sorts of tests for me to and is currently assessing me for biological asthma treatment.
Ignore your husband. Walk away! Winding you up will not help your asthma. Dr Patel did a remote consultation with me last week. He is not my regular consultant but he was great and very upbeat and clear. The RB is IMO, the place for sorting out asthma problems. There is nothing the fear. I was worried that the tests would cause me to have an asthma attack but that was not the case at all. I have nothing but praise for the RB and all the staff there. We are so lucky to have such a place in the UK. So many do not so visualise yourself in the hospital and being relaxed with no need to worry about being there. The staff are there to help and if you want to ask any questions they are happy to answer them. Get visualising it as a positive experience that is going to help you get the correct treatment for you. 👍
