Is CEFUROXIME a problem with covid vaccine

Does anyone know if an allergy to CEFUROXIME is an issue with the vaccine. My GP surgery called me today and have booked my vaccine for tomorrow, I asked about my two allergies and she said my allergy to penicillin isn't a problem but didn't know about the other, I have to ask when I get there. Its making me very nervous 😓

No idea but you should be asked about allergies before injection. I was. Mu understanding is that it is only those who need an epi pen that needs consideration. Hope all goes well.

I'm on long term antibiotics and had the vaccine without any problems. They also ask about allergies before going ahead with the jab too, so make sure you raise it anyway, but I believe they only want to know if you carry an epipen. Good luck.

All done, so relieved, I also don't like needles in general. But seems to have all gone fine

Phew! I did have a sore arm and had flu like symptoms (mild) for 24 hours after the jab (had it at 9am and symptoms started about 7pm). Had a couple of paracetamol and slept well and slept alot over the next couple of days. Just the immune system stepping up. Just so you don't worry if you get any of these side effects. Take care.
