Feeling bad almost all time of the day, who can relate with me?

โ€ข5 Replies

Cough, Chest tightness, Back stiff pain, mucus and is difficults to breath.... Like someone is crushing my chest and suffucating me. Has been only 6 months since my problem has started and I feel like this most time of the day. The only time i'm symptoms free is when i sleep. As a result of this, i drop from my studies and i'm feeling depressed right now. Unfortunately ventolin do not totally work on me and i was also put on high ics doses and montelukast. For the moment i still feel really bad even with meds and moving my chest make my problem like 10 times worse... who is or was in my situation and can relate with me?

Hiya ๐Ÿ˜Š do I read this right you have this more than 6 months? What you taking on medication ATM? That's an awfully long time to suffer like this.... it's not right. Are you in touch with your GP that he or she is aware of this? I believe you need something else as Ventolin.

Of course I would get depressed myself if I suffer this long with it. I mean I to have COPD with severe asthma, I do have bad days and I do get infection maybe 2-3 times a year, but overall it's controlled.

If you coughing a lot and bring stuff up, try to drink more warm liquid, lots of it, I know it's not easy to drink a lot, but it's helpful to thin the mucus that it will go away. And I would definitely get back to my GP to get this sorted. Because this is not enjoyable to live life this. I hope you get this sorted I wish you all the best. Let me know how you get on ok ๐Ÿค— you take care for now and stay safe and warm ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€

Perhaps you should go to your GP and insist on seeing a consultant. You can't go on like this. As you can sleep, it may be that stress is a factor in your feeling so bad. It's a vicious circle this - you're stressed because you feel ill, and the stress makes you worse.

I sympathise with you, all I can suggest is see your GP and have a blood test for Vitamin D3 deficiency, it can be the cause of bone and muscle pain and low mood

you need to insist on going to the hospital from your GP to get tested. I did after GP's kept telling me i have silent reflux even though i have had asthma for 20 years. So as i went to hospital they diagnose my asthma had changed my lungs where massively inflamed and my allergy to dust mites is more severe now, and put me on better medication.
