You’ll have heard the exciting news that the first approved COVID-19 vaccine is being rolled out across the UK. Here, we answer the questions you might have (link below), such as:
1. When can I get the vaccine?
2. Is the vaccine safe for people with a lung condition?
3. How will I know it’s my turn to get the vaccine?
4. Are there any side effects from the vaccine?
5. If I live with someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable, can I get the vaccine earlier?
Even though vaccines are being rolled out, you may not get yours for a while so it’s really important you continue to protect yourself from catching or spreading the virus. Continue to wash your hands regularly, practise strict social distancing and wear a face covering if you are able.
We’ll be keeping this page updated as soon as we hear any more information about the coronavirus vaccine, so please check back regularly.
