Need a Change Due to Cost

I am taking Dulera and Incruse. I am on Medicare (States) and I just can’t afford it. My Dulera is about $350 and Incruse is about 325 a month.

Have any of you been on these drugs or do you have recommendations for different meds to replace them?

Thank you so much!

Hi

Ugh. I hate that it’s this way for you 😞

Not sure how much the majority of us here will be able to help as in the UK we are fortunate enough to have free healthcare. I’m not sure what to suggest, as there are a lot of different inhalers but I have no idea how much they’d cost you. And finding the ‘right’ one can be difficult.

You may get more help on the ‘living with asthma’ forum which is more for the American asthmatics. The only thing I might suggest is talking to your prescriber and seeing what they can suggest cost wise.

Hope this helps and that you can find something that is both affordable and effective for you

I’m sorry. I am in the states. If you have Medicare it is difficult to get assistance with your drugs unless you are in poverty.

This isn't the first time I've seen this issue come up and there are a couple of options for our US cousins. More info about generic inhalers: healthpartners.com/blog/ast... another way to access affordable treatment: prescriptionhope.com/asthma/

And more ideas: community.aafa.org/blog/wha...
