Not yet -
According to the Meds list I am on -
MART regime DuoResp Spiromax160/4.5 two puffs twice a day + 1 additional puff (I can take up to 8 puffs on tp of morning and night) when necessary (if using at least 5 puffs each day on average) as well as monteleukast and CPAP machine
If it helps... I have severe asthma (on immunosuppressive drugs). I have had a phone call telling me I need to shield but as yet I have not had any other text messages or letters etc telling me to. I know I am on the list if only cause if the phone call 😅
Single inhaler treatment doesn't appear to indicate severe asthma unless you also have had to rely on multiple courses of oral steroids to control your asthma. And hospital admissions are another factor listed in the criteria.
NHS England will have sent out all notifications by Monday. NHS Scotland is about to issue theirs.
Even though you may not be in the sheilding group you should practice strict social distancing.
If you have any doubt talk to Asthma UK.
I have the same inhaler, but don't think I'm in the top 1.5 million. I'm retired so the decision to self-isolate was an easy one. My 20 odd year old godson normally lives with me, but he knows how bad I can be from catching the common cold, let alone covid-19, so he decided to stay with a friend. I will isolate for at least 12 weeks. Apart from asthma I have permanent Atrial Fibrillation , lymphoedema in my lower legs and other ailments, but generally fit. As for food, I will eat up what's in the store cupboard, not from panic buying, just normal tins and things. I have someone to pick up my medication who will also also buy necessities, such as milk and bread.
