Hi - I am a lifelong asthmatic - use preventer and occassional reliever - no Covid symptoms and i am a naturally anxious type - taking SSRI's for years - breathing noticeably worse last couple of days - what are the chances that it is anxiety driven?

Quite likely it's anxiety. Try Rescue Remedy good for that. Liz

Me too. Also, I have been staying inside more because of covid-19, and the dry air always makes mine worse. It could be a combination of anxiety and lack of fresh air.

Depending on where you live and the air quality, maybe try taking some walks outside when there aren't people around. If you have a garden, you could take strolls around it even if the weather is a bit rubbish right now. See if this helps :)

Also, many apps for anxiety. I use sanvello which has free daily meditations.

Thankyou - sensible advice - am getting out for half hour with the dogs but good call on the dry air

I think it’s very likely. I’m second guessing my breathing constantly at the moment. Someone said that it’s important to focus on something else so I’ve been busying myself around the house and it’s improving

Do you know - that is exactly the view i have reached - when i sit idle i feel it more - so i spent the morning in the garden!

Good for you . I think it’s important to do what you can when there’s so much else we can’t at the moment. I have been around all my broken stuff with no more nails this morning 😹

I suspect that a lot of gardening and DIY is going to get done in the next few weeks - there is a glue even stronger than nomore nails - it is literally called "stickslikesh*t" and it sticks anything to anything other than some plastics!
