Relvar or Fostair

I have been put on Relvar by my specialist but not getting on with it even with rinsing my mouth I’m still coughing and of course cannot use a spacer with this. My Asthma nurse has suggested Fostair. Anyone got any revaluations about this please.

Forstair as a drug worked very well for me but the side effects were literally crippling. The muscle spasms in both my legs and chest were terrible. Within three days of stopping Forstair muscle spasms stopped.

If Forstair works for you great but look out for side effects.

My AN changed me from Symbicort to Fostair 100 then 200. It works for me with minimal side effects. Everybody's different though, the only way you will know for sure is by trying it and see how you get on. Good luck 👍

I tried Relvar twice. Did not work for me. Throat issues and so much coughing. Now on Fostair and it’s seems to be great so far. Only a month but my asthma and throat are so much better. No Side effects. Good luck

I am 80yrs and had pneumonia 2 years ago, had never suffered with chest problems and was given prednisone and antibiotics for 2 months. I felt great until pollen season began and could not stop wheezing. Doctor put me on Fosfair and salbutamol twice a day result was amazing and no side effects! I now go out with knowledge that my medication is essential and works for me. Please give it a try and get a life .xx
