When I get breathless and use my inhaler a couple of times it seems to make me feel worse, a bit space out and heart racing. Or is that the asthma . Settles after a while . Feel rough for the rest of the day . As we all know asthma attacks are frightening.

I feel similar after using a lot of salbutamol too. I find that those side effects tend to feel worse for me if I’m suffering a bad flare. For example, last night, by the 8th puff, I felt absolutely rotten- my heart was pounding and I felt quite dazed but by then I had been breathless for hours and my chest was pretty tight anyway

Thank but must be something else we could take , even my Doctor said it can make you feel bad

Have you tried the DPI version? Cause some people have issues more with the propellant of the MDI than the actual salbutamol...
