Guaifenesin

I’m on Seratide 250/50 and fexofenadine for my cough variant asthma. This is the worst time of year for me with the start of the spore season. I have started taking Guaifenesin to try and break down the mucus as I’m drowning in the stuff!

I’m just wondering if others have gone this route or what they have to thin and loosen mucus.

Hi

When my lungs are at their worst, I take carbocisteine... I found it helps breakdown/bring up the mucus I have! I think it’s technically a COPD drug but I’ve never had issues getting it prescribed when it’s required

Hope you start to feel better soon
