so it feels like my asthma has been playing up lately and i am on a course of steroids and my symbicort was increased a month or so ago, my peak flow and sats are normal though

I do however suffer with health anxiety for the last 10 years and breathing has always been an issue of mine so its hard to tell which is which

More than likely there both feeding each other, i have been recommended to try cbd oil not sure if anyone here has tried that

Any help will be great

Hi I seem to be having the same symptoms as you. Even the health anxiety due to my breathing all over the place and heart palpitations. Never been told about the cbd oil tho.

Heart palpitations can be a sign of an asthma attack as well as part of anxiety. I had palpitations for 5 hours prior to my first nasty attack in 25 years, last month. I’ve had a few less severe ones since but they have all started with a high heart rate. Just something to be aware of.

I never really have a fast heart rate usually at 60 to 70 bpm its just pounding. My doc today says it the formoterol in my symbicort inhaler which can cause it. BP was a little high today and blood sugar was fine. He ended up putting me on an antihistamine x 2 a day for a month.
