I didn't know what this was and had to look it up. I've never used this but have found with my treatment Seretide, spriva and ventolin my hair is thinner and have noticable hair loss. I use products with no sulphate and parabins for my hair and this helps a bit maybe worth a try but probably meds. In a catch 22 situation though.😄

Nucala (brand name) is a biologic. Looking up biologic drugs ran across hair loss as a side effect for a rheumatoid arthritis drug. It gets worse with each injection. Also fatigue. Thanks for the tip. Will try hair products without those ingredients.

I'm a bit confused and that doesn't take much, do they use nucala for uncontrolled asthma or for arthritis or both?😃

I've read a bit more, apologies they use it for high eosophils in lots if chronic illnesses. I've learnt something new. Thanks

Yes, I believe I am experiencing extreme hair loss after just 5 injections. Started after 4 injections and wish I had never gotten the 5th. I’m afraid I will be bald by the time it gets out of my system.

Had my5 the shot. Lost half of my hair. Only thing different in my life. Nucala has helped my lungs so much don't know what to do.

Still experiencing hair loss. Taken Nucala for 6 months. Find I'm getting weaker, dont know what else to contribute those side effects to, but the Nucala Inections. Good news, no more headaches.

I had to stop it. The headaches, hair loss, and extreme sore throat were just too much. Now just awaiting the worsening of my asthma symptoms again.

Hello Ticaboorhino,

I realize that your post is several years old! It's Sept, 2022, and I've been on Nucala injections since Nov, 2021 for asthma and sinus polyps.

Yes, besides the usual side effects, after about the 4th to 5th injection, I started noticing substantially more than normal hair loss! I've lost somewhere between one quarter to a third of my hair! Hoping that my doctor can prescribe something to address the thinning hair until I'm finished as of Dec, 2022.
