Good evening. Two days ago I 've received a message frim Guy's Hosp saying that my appointment has changed from 18th April to 22nd August?when I asked them, as a solution they told me to keep calling them maybe someone else will cancel an appointment?I'm shocked as I need some answers following a CT scan that I'll have on 15th March. Did someone experienced something similar ? Thank you .

I suggest that if you have phoned them direct and need more information you make an appointment to talk to your doctor about it. Hopefully he can check that there is nothing urgent that needs dealing with.

Sounds like a big time gap.

Could be the person they need to see is away. But I definitely agree about asking GP to check on the results

Does happen, I’m afraid. My husband waited 11 months for feedback on a CT scan, and had to chase up for that. GP said if there was any treatment required, he would have heard.

In fact he needed a new inhaler to help him with copd diagnosed by the scan.

So stick at it....keep phoning and you might get that cancellation. Good luck.
