Hi all I have asthma but have also got bronchiectasis. I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis at 11 after many yrs going back and forth to G.P and hospital from being 2. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 23. I have been to hospital 4 times and kept in twice. Last stay was 17th October this year for three nights. I had to have 3 1/2 week off work. I'm still feeling wacked out and really weepy. It seems to be taking me ages to bounce back as anyone else had this ?

Yes I have. I am sure others have too. Unfortunately it takes time to recover, hard I know, but be gentle with yourself. If you have been given prednisolone that is enough to make you emotional apart from the sheer frustration of not being 'in control' and able to do what ever you feel like doing. Rest up as much as possible, and when possible do a little more each time. Hopefully you'll gradually feel stronger. Remember you're not alone x
