Anyone tried it and any horror stories? Iv been offered it but the only thing that's putting me off is reading people carry epipens with them? I don't want to do that. Anyway I have a appointment in 8 weeks to discuss. Thanks

I had it last year fir 6 treatments , I have to admit carrying an epipen made me nervous of it , I had side affects on it but others have had good results. I’m on mepolizamab now and doing ok apart from extreme fatigue at times

Hi

I was on in Jan through August this year. It worked quite well for me but I had to stop as I started to get mildly swollen lips and hives from it. Never had to use the epipen as they resolved with antihistamines.

The risk of anaphylaxis is less than 1/1000, and I think it’s normally people who’ve had anaphylaxis before who are more likely to react this way anyway (and they already carry pens so 🤷‍♀️)

If you’re worried about it talk to your nurse (?) at the appt, as they will have all the info on it and be able to discuss all the pros and cons.

Good luck
