Hi I'm 49, gave up smoking almost 2 years ago and since then my breathing has got worse. Had an x-ray in January which showed smoking damage, put on different inhalers to no avail. Tried exercising. Can't last more then 2 minutes before becoming breathless. Had a repeat x-ray in August which according to radiologists/GP suggests infection!! I have no symptoms other than shortness of breath. GP is as surprised as I am. Being put on antibiotics and for another repeat x-ray in 4 weeks time. Bit of an enigma, but that's my story so far. 😁
