The blood looks red and fresh and not much of it , all good signs . My guess is that a blood capillary has ruptured . Not likely to be serious unless the symptoms worsen .

Thank you griffon for your time in responding. Thanks please could I give a little more detail. I Do not want to put any feelings towards yohr reply. I don't know if this has any thing to do with it 5 years ago I had laprascopic Nissan fundoplication for my large sliding hiatus hernia, I stopped vomiting from almost daily before the op and intact for 3 years I was unable to burp or vomit which is common side affect I was more than hreatful just to have difficult with wind

I have been vomiting regurating food blood and mucus started work d 15 months ago, I have lost 4 stone and my moth and throat gets build up of this stuff where it does block my nose but strangely it's usually one side whatever side mt head is going.

Thank you for your time 😁

I wish I could help you , but I have no knowledge of your condition . I was assuming that as this is an asthma group the mucus was some that you had coughed up . There is a link between asthma and anxiety for some people , so I was trying to be reassuring .

However it sounds as though your medical condition is much more serious , and you need expert advice . Is there not a group that covers your problems here on Health Unlocked ?

Sorry griffon I assumed all comments where linked together. Yes I completely understand but people who may have experienced some symptoms that would give me answers. Thank you for your time and kind comments

I don’t wish to sound harsh, but I really think with this problem and weight loss that you should see a Dr rather than ask this forum.

I agree Liz but please there was no intent to cause any one distress, and I am sorry if my behaviour has come across. I suffer with adhd and causes so much problems regarding how I think is normal. I'm 24 I don't blame them but 9 out of 10 times i am instantly judged. And to answer your questions regarding the doctors i have had surgery to repair my food pipe, I have been to every hospital in my distance. Out of hours you name it. I was sent to a&e after nhs non emergency helpline where I was told it was anxiety not even an examation never mind basic tests. I was man handled by security left me outside the front door.

I have had 6 different antibiotics

Laxido powder 3 times a day.

Omperzaole

Gavisgon

Domperidone

Oh if I do go out of hours It will be a few days worth of diazpam and the only thing that eases my sickness is a tablet for side affect of chemo. That has serious affect i hate my self.

I do not want to argue that's how I am here talking today. Accept my apologies I will remove post from site.

Oh bless you, no distress caused! That’s the trouble with only having half a story you see. It sounds like you’re having a tough time all round and I don’t think there’s any reason to take down your post - but I’d still see your GP. 👍

Hi honey, you should get to the GP. There are certain screenings they will do, and likely you’ll need a chest X-ray.

Was this a one off? Is it happening regularly?

Was his coughed from your lungs, or was it vomit?

From the lungs it’s callex haemoptysis - and haematemasis from stomach. Looks more like respiratory to be honest. It’s never normal to have pink tinged mucous and with blood stained / it could be an infection - please go to GP or phone hospital and get advice via NHS direct / NHS 24 x

So difficult when you have had bad experience, but it is important to follow through with getting good medical advice about the fresh blood and weight loss - have you been meaning to loose weight, or is it caused by sickness? If you are having chemo then do you have some sort of cancer? If so there are some good helplines to phone for advice and support e.g. Macmillan Nurses have a free phone line

Most of the experience on here is about asthma. Hope you get some good help soon.
