Hi. I am a 48 year old male diagnosed with asthma 8 weeks ago following a viral chest infection. I was put on seritide 250. I am also suffering from anxiety as a result of the prolonged illness which started back in February. I am feeling a burning and sometimes tingling in my arms and legs and other parts of my body which I am attributing to anxiety. It is keeping me awake at night and is a major factor in slowing my recovery. My question is whether this could be a possible side effect to the inhaler. Are there others who have experienced similar.

I did not experience any side effects like that when I was on it. May I suggest reading the leaflet enclosed with the inhaler to see if they are know side effects? Recommend go and see your GP as they are affecting your sleep, and need to identify the cause to see if anything can be done to relieve the symptoms.
Hi Anne. Such a side effect is not listed on the leaflet but it is listed on the mayoclinic web site. I guess only real way of finding out it to stop inhaler for a short time and see.
I’m on that one and I have never had those side effects but we are all different and I have been on others that have made me shake etc . Go see your dr xx
