Livingston fortuitum

I am now having tests for my chest problems that have gone on for last 2 years. I recently gave sputum samples which first came back negative, but, further testing showed a bug called microbacterium fortuitum. They are now doing further sputum tests to see if the bug remains. Has anyone here ever been diagnosed with that bacterial bug and if so what treatment was given?

Thanks in advance,

Gary

Sorry for auto spell check which put Livingston instead of microbacterium.
