Middle back tightening pain
That sounds familiar - I get it usually with my worse attacks. I think I'd describe mine as a really uncomfortable intense tightness and I end up kind of wriggling ny chest around but can't shift it. Really not a nice feeling!
I've never been sure which particular aspect of asthma causes it or why (at least for me) it seems to be more often linked to attacks where I end up in resus with lots of treatment rather than less intense ones. I have had worse attacks without it too.
Hi, I'm kinda glad someone knows what I mean, it always feels as if it's in my back just where my bra strap would be. The sensation is like someone has squashed me in a vice
On a couple of occasions I've actually had a popping noise then excruciating pain which lasts for hours then subsides to a dull ache.
I hate ailments ha!!!
i go out with bra on but before long its off its easy to breath with it off...but i got COPD...hate it...
I also get this exact feeling
I get a feeling in my back. It's not really strong enough for me to call it pain. It's more like discomfort. Sometimes it feels a little tight and other times it's like a burning sensation. It's also right around where my bra strap would be but it happens even when I'm not wearing a bra. I never had that sensation before I started using symbicort so I'm not sure if it's caused by my asthma or my medication
I am not sure if this is the same but I get back pain if I leave the asthma attack too long before using the reliever and I am pretty sure it is because my back muscles are having to work so hard to help me breathe. The longer I leave the attack, the worse it gets so I have realised I have to nip it in the bud or try to prevent it which I am trying with vitamins and minerals and walking in nature as often as I can. I am making some progress I think in reducing the number and severity of attacks, by using approx 400mg Magnesium, Vitamin K2, 1000iu Vitamin C, and 1000iu D3 daily most of the time.
