Stop breathing at night

HI everyone! Can anyone tell me what it could be? I was falling to sleep the other night and all of a sudden I opened my eyes and realised I want breathing I had to remind my self to take a breath. Is it insomnia or something it happend a couple of times now but months inbetween does anyone have any ideas?

I ment Apnea not insomnia lol

Sounds like sleep apnea , in which case that is what you need to research .

This sounds as if you may be suffering from sleep apnea, this can be a dangerous condition so I would suggest you have a chat with your GP.

OK I will make a appointment on Friday and have a word with the doctor.. if im nit wrong they won't do anything unless it accurs often but in my case it happens out the blue every other month. Xx
