Hi
Is anyone still battling with pollen symptoms? I'm still coughing a lot of mucus up which happens for me with pollen, it's never been this late on though. Now wondering if there's something else in the air/diet I'm allergic to.

You are describing me x
Hi! I take Montelukast at night, and Cetirizine day time on top of all inhalers, besr regards
Are you sure it’s pollensxand not moulds now leaves falling? Both connected
Hi, it's my daughters worst time of year. Apparently the leaf mould from the rotting fallen leaves can be a trigger. Antihistamines can help.
Yes ,I've been struggling since July. Doctors given me fexofenadine and montekulast which helps a little bit not enough! Rubbish isn't it!
I know - it is comforting to know others are in same situation though.
I have just spoken to the doctor again and increases clenil and also going to start anti hestiamine again. Mines been out of control since June when I was re diagnosed since childhood asthma.
I have so much mucuous!
I have been up all night because I am having the house dceorated and it is literally killing me - coughing all night!! X
I tried a facial steamer this morning to try & break up the mucus a bit, its helped a little but wish there was something I could be prescribed, it's really tiring coughing a lot. I feel as if I've had a chest infection all year. Going to the allergy hospital in jan so fingers crossed.
Hi all,
It's a particularly bad time for leaf mould in Autumn and fungal spores especially in damp wet weather. There's some information here that might help: bit.ly/2yHkJT4
Take care,

Hi Dita,
When I had allergy tests at the hospital they found I wasn't allergic to mould spores, but there is definitely something in the air which is still setting my lungs into allergy alert, just wish I knew what & could be treated with something for it. I start with theses symptoms as soon as the leaves come into bud, then get a rest for 3 wks ish from the leaves coming out to grass pollen time through to the autumn. have you a magic wand dita
Thank you for the link Dita, maybe the consultant only tested for one type of mould?
Have you tried fexofenadine? It's a prescription only antihistamine that (for me) is much more effective than the over the counter stuff. I have bad allergic asthma and hay fever from April-October and since I've been on fexofenadine it's been a lot better. You might benefit from a steroid nasal spray too, if you're not on one already.
I'll metion that to my doc thanks Lucia
