Mosquitoes bits

Hi I've had a severe reaction to mosquitoes bits and my doctor had given me prednisolone and I was just wondering has anyone else had this for bits or just asthma. And if so had this for bits how long did it take to start working because I really want to rip my legs off as the pain is unreal.

I have a terrible reaction to mosquito bites. I normally use a topical steroid ointment on them. But have in the past been told to use Prednisolone for a couple of days, when I have had literally hundreds of bites.

Try not to itch. It's futile I know, but bites on my back where I can't scratch always heal faster.

I had some serious bites in the Caribbean one year and had prednisolene. Took a couple of days, with anti-histamines, but it worked a treat. Plus I had bags of energy for once!
