OMG what an amazing lady I have just spoken to. Given me so much help, information, advice I cant tell you . I feel so much better and have an armful of things to do and to ask the consultant. Also things my GP never deemed it necessary to tell em :( . Thank you for pointing me in their direction.

The Asthma UK nurses are great! They have always provided great help to me. They are an invaluable resource. x

I totally agree, just had a useful conversation with them myself. Sometimes just the reassurance that you're thinking along the right lines helps before you see your gp.

Yes! I rang them this morning too. Very impressed and my GP is now allowing me to follow the advice of the Asthma UK nurse in order to get off my steroids seeing as he was at a bit of a loss.

Asthma nurses can be very useful. Asthma UK helpline rocks always even if you never ring them when you may had thought to. The knowledge that they are there if necessary.
