Hi and yes! I needed about 4-5 days more nebuliser treatment but other than that was fairly stable so desperate to go home. This combination is now the last element of my action plan and it has kept me out of hospital over the winter this year with the support of a really responsive GP service. My consultant is very careful tho to ensure that I strictly monitor my peak flow and SATs when I need them as apparently people have got into trouble and deteriorated using the neb and getting quick relief them going off again. So they do need to be treated with respect!

Hi Kashwi,

I was sent home wit h both Ipratropium and Salbutamol nebulisers after my last exacurbation over Xmas & New Year, only because I self monitor both my peak flow and oxygen sats.

I was taking both at the same time every 4 hours on top of prednisolone and antibiotics.
