MY COPD REVIEW - Really.
I told her I was happy with Ventalin,
Ipratropium
bromide and Fostair inhalers., She mentioned Trimbow again - I said I have seen/heard how it's affected other and I don't want it, anyway - I said with AF than all at once could be a trigger.

Asthma Flare up
I have a home nebuliser system which I have
Ipratropium
and Salbutamol nebules which help relieve the strange feeling in my chest for a while but then it comes back a couple of hours later, weirdly enough I found that singing seems to also relieve it š.

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
However
ipratropium
(atrovent) which is the same class as tiotropium can be used as a reliever, however you shouldnāt use tiotropium and
ipratropium
at the same time. I have not listed all options here just covered the most common devices, so if Iāve missed yours, sorry and please list it below!

Short Synacthen Test for AI
I am also on Spiriva Respimat 2 puffs morning, as well as
ipratropium
(Atrovent) and salbutamol via nebuliser 3-4 times daily (as well as other asthma meds). I have been told that these are ok to continue.

Post steroud wean or Ipratropium side effects? - nausea, dizziness, fatigue
Or could it be due to the added nebules (I take
ipratropium
and salbutamol 3-4 times daily) Any advice gratefully received. Many thanks, Michelle x

Post steroid wean
I only had 1 full on attack, after which they added in
Ipratropium
nebs along with my salbutamol nebs four times a day, which seemed to help (I'm already on fostair 200/6 and spiriva respimat). They have discharged me on these too.

Is there a difference between Asthavent and Venteze?
I also have a heart condition - so because of the heart I was using Ipvent (
Ipratropium
Bromide) until something caused it not to be available in South Africa any more. So since then I used Venteze for a while and when that inhaler ran out I got Asthavent.

Just diagnosed with asthma.33y old female.Taking prednisone, duoneb (ipratropium bromide and albuterol), advair hfa, ventolin, montelukast.
Hi all, I have been diagnosed with asthma 3 weeks ago as a consequence of viral infection. I was started on symbicort. But my reaction was bad with a lot of yawning and difficulty breathing in first 3-4 h after inhaling. I went to pulmonary doc. And I was started with Montelukast, duoneb nebulizer 4xday

Feeling frustrated
I attended via a 999 ambulance having Salbutamol amd
Ipratropium
and still wheezy when I got there. I appreciate how awful and busy it is but I felt so tight and told them that (just about, still not complete sentences). Also have brittle asthma.

Our October Holiday.
On arrival I was immediatly given nebulised
Ipratropium
and oxygen. After an x-ray, and a blood test it was confirmed I had not only pneumonia but also the start of septicemia, which made sense as I was also coughing up some bright red blood, and sweating really profusely.

Asthma very unstable.
In fairness to him, he did say that he could see I was acutely unwell and was obviously in distress but he was adamant that it wasn't my asthma.......despite the fact that the
ipratropium
and salbutamol nebs helped!

Post attack advice please
When I was there i had 3 lots of
ipratropium
and salbutamol nebs over a period of a few hours. They kept a good eye on me eventually let me home at 2am. So for a few hours after, I felt really quite sick. Is this normal?

asthma ... beta blockers, flecainide
fyi, I use an
Ipratropium
bromide inhaler which is different from a beta agonist, which is the more common type of inhaler.

New to this group and hoping for thoughts
I take Fexofenadine so donāt get set off for allergies very often, in fact I can go many months without any flare up, but when it does flare it hits me hard so I have a nebuliser at home and need Salbutamol and
Ipratropium
together.

Silent Brittle asthma
Occasional flare ups I could manage with nebulised Salbutamol and
Ipratropium
. I take fexofenadine so didnāt get set off by allergies very often. In December last year I had a very minor cold and since then I have spiralled into a completely uncontrolled state again.
