SPACER ADVICE

Hi there,

Does anyone know which what is the most effective way to use a spacer when inhaling preventer or reliever medication? I have been using the four breath approach but recently tried one single breath when inhaling ventolin through a spacer and felt I got better results. Thoughts anyone?

I dont think either way is better as both wats are delivering medication. Forvme single breath breath is fine when I feel well but when my asthma is making me ill I lose the ability to breath deep enough to get all the meds into my lungs so need smaller breaths or to use my nebuliser insted.
