Anyone else allergic to latex?

servewithmintsauce profile image

Just interested to know if anyone else on here has asthma _and_ a latex allergy?

Don't mind whether you're Type IV or Type I.

Personally, I'm Type I Latex Allergic so it's hivey, swelly, throat-closing joy for me!

I am allergic to latex / latex sensitive / type IV ? I get very itchy, hives in some cases, affects my asthma etc... I couldn't go into H&B last week because they had lots of balloons in there. Detected them as soon as I trundled in there.

I have had problems with carers in the past coming in with latex gloves... despite being told not to.
