getting people to understand asthma

please HELP, due to circumstances beyond my control (lost my job) I was diagnosed with adult onset asthma about 4 years ago. I have had to stay with my parents

until I get back on my feet. Unfortunately for me I have acute chemical sensitivity with my allergic asthma. Although I have tried to explain to mother she refuses to stop using the chemicals which are causing inflammation to my asthma and the constant use of my blue inhaler (i also take daily symbicort), I am having this argument now with her on almost a daily basis, i just can't get her to understand even though she has diabetes type 2 and high blood pressure which she needs to medically control she just does not take my asthma seriously when it comes to cleaning chemicals what can I do?
