Hi all. Just want to pick your brains. I have been given omeprazole for my constantly hoarse voice and it has worked. The only hassle is that I get headaches. Does anyone else experience this? Also mine are to be taken once a day. Any ideas on the best time of day?

As long as you take it around the same time of day, it doesn't matter. I got headaches on higher doses, think it's a recognised side effect. You might find it eases if you take 20mg 12hrly rather than 40mg 24hrly. When I was on more than 20mg (up to 80mg a day) I split my dose in two as suggested by doc.
Hi nursefurby thank you for your reply. The pills come in capsule form and I don't think they can be split in half. Will ask doc re smaller dose. Woke up with a crazy headache today. Annoying. Thank you again!? sue
Ah okay, I assumed you had been given 20mg capsules and were taking two. 
Omeprazole/Lansoprazole
fexofenadine and omeprazole 
Went out for the day sunday & still paying for it coughing - I have allergy asthma (pollen) Feel so sad.
