I have been changed from lansoprazole to omeprazole but feel it is not working as well as lansoprazole. Has anyone found this also?

Omeprazole/Lansoprazole
I found that esoprazole was the best for me and it has to b taken half an hour b4 breakfast. A special diet for acid reflux is also important. I have a very good app that tell u foods that r good or bad for u. Check it out. Hope that is helpful.
Don't know about working - I take them to prevent problems with the NSAIDs I take for other things, I don't have acid reflux - but I had more side effects with omeprazole, and am much happier on lansoprazole, which I also take half an hour before breakfast.
I have silent reflux (aka reflux cough disease), I was on Omeprazol for a while about 10 years ago, then I was changed to Lanzoprazole and have been on it ever since. I think everyone metabolizes drugs differently so what will work for one person won't necessarily work for another. A bit like different inhalers. Some foods that are on the list for foods to avoid don't affect me such as tomatoes. I eventually had a Nissan fundoplicatuon operation which helped as I was having regular sudden severe asthma attacks because of the reflux. Since the operation my asthma deteriorates slowly which is more manageable.
I take ompresol as have acid reflux deasese 2 a day 4o ml in total find it helps
