Hi Annabelle!

As I have a phobia of going to hospital I generally sit at home till its too late, but at this situtation you should be going. You are shaking from (what I assume as this happens to me a lot) taking too much of salbutamol/blue inhaler. Steroids don't make you shake if you take it at the right dose and 8 tablets is the right dose. But yes if you have trouble breathing try not to hesitate especially if you are shaking from the inhaler, as it will only get worse. The earlier you go the better it will be, as the attack will not progress after you get treated. But at home it can quickly progress from this state and you can easily end up in things like the intensive care. It happened to me a number of times, and try not to make my mistake unless you have a phobia like me.

Hope you bet better and keep me informed,
