Teenager - Omalizumab

I have a 13 year old daughter who for the last 2 years has had servere asthma attacks, they have suggested that she moves from 10mg of prednisolone aday to injections of the above. I have researched on the web but wondered if anyone out there has any real life eperience of this drug?

being so poorly has really effected my daughters moods etc so really need to get this thing under control...
