steroid induced diabetes

Just wondering if anyone has any similar experiences or am i just weird?

So ive been on pred for 5 1/2 yrs now and had sterois induced type 2 diabetes since beginning 2010.

I take 2X glucophage 100 in the evening and have a tendency to hypos for no particular reason.

If my pred is at a decent dose then i can get away with eating however i want within reason but when iv pred goes up iv insulin hoes up with it.

Anyway i have this maybe strange reaction that when i eat something really sweet like a mars bar or recently a choc fudge cake i can feel myself come out in a sweat right away. And yes the blood sugar shoots up.

So does anypne else findthis?
