I always feel bad pestering my A&E or emergency doctors so im always unsure when to get help. I've had asthma for years but the more it plays up the less I feel able to get help. Sorry this is rambly I get like that when asthma starts hitting.
I finished a course of pred on Sunday but feeling pretty short of breath
if you feel that short of breath either call 999 or go to your nearest A & E have you family or friend that can take you there if not call for an ambulance. You are never a pest and even more so now you should get help if the medication your doctor has finished and you are getting worse. I feel this way of not getting help but you don't do yourself any favours in the end Citygirl can vouch for that one, when you feel up to it Mr Citygirl wrote WARNING TO ALL YOU ASTHMATICS!!!
good luck and the green paramedics in their flying machines won't mind at all if you call them
Thanks I guess its normal to think we pester. I did phone the out of hours doctor who preceded to send a first responder and ambulance to my house. Nebuliser made me feel so much better.
Glad to hear you got help fraggles.
I know we always worry about calling for help but qll I've ever hear from paramedics, nurses etc is ""wedon't mind people like you who are really sick, its the drunks etc that we don't like. People like you are what we're here for""!
