Morning everyone- a bright an early wake up from the nhs hotel!
New here hello!
Have been hospital for a week now due to an ongoing chest infection (10wks) that failed to respond to oral antibiotics and poorly controlled asthma. Saw the consultant yesterday and he's talking of sending me home with nebs (whenever i finally do get to escape!)- i've found they've made such a big difference since I've been in.
Sorry that you are in hospital, I hope you continue to improve and manage to get home soon.
I have a home nebuliser and found that on several occasions it has helped me avoid a visit to my local hospital. I certainly would not be without it, after saying that, though, I do have a strict asthma management plan as to when to get help or not.
Thank you Asthma girl really appreciate it
It's infections that tend to set me off with asthma-I have a problem with my immune system too so I'm hit with frequent infections which has made my asthma so unstable over the last few months. Seeing how much the nebs have helped me since coming in I'm sure theyd help me at home with I'm hit by lurgy.
Not sure when I'm going to be able to escape, this evening I'm really struggling cannot stop coughing and wheezing.
