chose and book computer says no

phoned after a chose and book referal to my local hosp

the chose and book lady was very nice but had a computer says it's to full and you can't book.

also they don't do chest x ray ehich is done sepratly.

Any times as have not hear anything for ages

I've had this! Basically Choose and Book has a limit on the number of appts they can book. When they reach it they can't book any more but it doesn't mean they're not available, just that they can't overbook. The clinic however CAN overbook so you need to ring them directly. I had to do this and got there in the end though you need to be persistent as it took me ages and they kept saying they'd ring me back then not doing it.

Good luck! Are you going to the chest clinic? They tend to do a chest X-ray when you get there for your appointment; I generally get sent off to X-ray when I arrive and check in at the desk, or sometimes they send you afterwards.

haveing chest xray as a one off investigation,

probable ref to chest clinic in the future.

My GP as ever scores F in communication skills

the ref was for chest x ray and voice exam (not keen)

but gp is now back to it is asthma the rason why your coughing is because you have no preventer!
