Hey, thats great, but when i lookd, asthmatic didnt come under category :-|

yeah i am now registered with this after seeing it on seehear programme, sounds really good and just have to text register to 999 and follow what it says on the text

really i think the service is only for the deaf and hard of hearing

Deffo not! I've used it when I've been in the house on my own and am having a bad attack. I've used it 3 times now and I can't fault their quality of care. Yes it's used by the deaf community but it isn't restricted to them.

Yes text register to 999 it is so easy to do,it gets used a lot for asthma, a few of my friends on here have ran in to dificulty and needed to use it. X

I have used it more than once when I could not speak enough to make sense.

it is also worth a reminder that 999 service CANNOT trace mobile phones ONLY landlines.

So if you need them to FIND YOU ring 112, this service can trace your mobile.

You also do not need any of the following:-

1). Credit on your phone to ring 112

2). or even a sim card on modern phones to use 112

3) a mobile signal - as it uses GPS satelites and not mobile networks - so extreemly good in remote areas etc... and therefore it can be traced.
