Anyone else collecting hospital wristbands?

After another stay on hospital this week, I decided to count my little girls hospital wristbands (she's 9).

Counted 51 so far and thats not accounting for the ones we've lost through the years or the monthly routine hospital appointments to see the consultant.

Anyone else got a collection of them going. If so how many have you collected so far?

I did collect them, I've started throwing them out now though, as the amount I had was depressing.

Do I see an opportunity for creative competition here? Possibly collages of wristbands as decorative wall hangings or maybe they could be woven together to make useful baskets, bookmarks or photograph frames .........
