Steroid spray

I have been taking the steroid spray 2 puffs twice a day for a week now, does it interfere with the taste buds, i rinse my mouth after using it as told, my tongue feels a bit numb and everything tastes of nothing, hope all feeling ok today xx

About to say happens with my purple one too. Then did a search and found I'd grumbled about the same thing when on Symbicort last year. Maybe its just a general inhaler thing.

have you tried using a spacer with it?

my mouth was the same but did get better over time.

my inhalers make me want to drink all the time,

Its the brown one, i've garggling and drinking loads, as said maybe a inhaler thing, dry powder and that,hope all had good weekend.x

Hi, i use a maroon coloured steroid inhaler (used to be a brown one) & a white one with a green lid. I use a volumatic spacer chamber when taking two puffs of steroids twice a day. I dont get any nasty taste and thespacer helps prevent the risk of oral thrush. It may help if you get a spacer.
