As most people know,, I'm in hospital. I'm low on my seretide inhaler, my dads lost my prescription & only other 1 I have is my repeat which takes 2 days to get stuff from it. Will/should hospital be able to prescribe another for me? :S

hospital & medication.
Hospitals are supposed to supply you with at least a couple of weeks medication for when you get out. If you see the pharmacist come round to rummage in your medicine cupboard it might be worth mentioning to them &/or the doctors. If you mention it sooner rather than later then there might not be such a big delay while they wait for medication from pharmacy when they are trying to discharge you!
Do you have any idea when you are escaping yet? Hope you are feeling a bit better and enjoying the company of the little old ladies!

yes dont worry about that hospital will give you another one if you let them know, same thing happened to me last week and had no probs getting one of hospital, you just concentrate on getting yourself better
I'm not sure, just waiting for porter to escape from HDU, there's been no talk of coming off IV yet.
Ah right, cheers, stuck urgent label on it cause would'a rung my dad once I get moved to ask him to bob into doctors & ask for another to be printed out before he comes down to hospital with mum & sister.
hi ,the hospital should get you one if tell them but make sure they do it now before pharmacy shuts for the day and make sure they know where to bring it if your being moved or tell them when moved you need one asap ! X
Alright, thanks.
I'll use this for future reference [IF (hopefully not) I land in hospital again & run out of meds], dad managed to get a prescription off GP for all my medication & is on way to the hospital now.
