nebbing saline
Hi my daughter Chloe who is 5 has home nebs and we were told by a consultant that it was fine just to use plain bottled water.I've used this and found no problems .Hope it works for you .Nikki
I use the sterile saline that is prescribeable for shifting gunge when I have chest infections.
I wouldn't use the contact lens stuff as it may have preservatives in!!
Saline is better than plain water as the salt in it helps to loosen the gunge!
Speak to your doctor about it and get it on prescription if you need it.

Yep i agree with Kate, defo speak to your doc coz some asthmatics including me dont tolorate it well and it can actually induce broncospasm so be carefull.
Hope you get on ok

Don't do it unless you are sure you can. I had a bad re-action to hypertonic saline (a much stronger version) and it has been suggested I avoid normal saline nebs too.
