You can. But be warned. A lot of asthmatics really have issues with nebulised saline as it triggers them. And it often can be a delayed response too. So be careful

Just be careful what saline you use..
There are very different strengths and some of the higher (hypertonic) saline eg. 6 or 7% concentrations should only be prescribed by your hospital teams. As has been said they can cause problems for unwary asthmatics.
However normal saline of 0.4-0.6% concentration is obviously less concentrated and might be helpful.. but you should check with your GP/Cons to be sure.
