Hi, just calling to pick some brains again. Have developed a touch of pluerisy because of my pneumonia and am having a hard time getting some rest because frankly it hurts like mad, has any one had this and how did they get through it more comfortably?

Hi Angel,

Have bumped up a couple of threads. Using a hot water bottle to apply heat seems to help a bit, but you do see a doctor if it hurts a lot for advice to check that the pneumonia isn't getting worse.

Hope you feel better soon.

Ginny

Thanks Ginny for the bumps :)

Going to go to doctor and ask for some more painkillers as was practically in tears this afternoon (something that doesnt happen often) and poor steve is worried sick.

Will track my hot water bottle down and hopefully not injure myself with it again (long story)

xx

just an update really.

Went to doctor, been given some more painkillers and told to rest (so running around like a headless chicken has been a giant NO NO), so have taken to the bed. Found that laying the pillows in an ""L"" shape and laying between them is a good way to make myself comfortable as is using my hot water bottle.

Getting there slowly, thanks for the bumps and advice :)
