Eczema creams.

I have recently been introduced to some products new to the UK market but are top sellers in Ireland and are fab.

They are all free of Lanolin, Alcohol, Sodium Laureth sulphate, soap, parabens and perfume to name a few nasties.

I have been using them on Patrick(7)who is known in the family as Mr Crusty due to his skin and seen a dramatic improvement and on myself too The shampoo has also seemed to help my eldests flaky scalp where another leading brand has failed.

The products maybe available in local pharmasists but i dont think they are in chain stores yet but there is due to be a big advertising campaign very soon.

I AM NOT TRYING TO SEEL ANYTHING just help fellow sufferres. If you want to know the products name please PM me.

(with moderator's hat on!)

Although they are available in local pharmacies it can also be bought on line , for more info try

elave.co.uk

Thanks for the web ref link Hopalong.

Will try a couple of those products.

The skin creams and hair shampoos I use are pretty good, but it's always useful to have 'safety net' alternatives.

Glad they work for you and yours.

Thanks for these details - I've ordered some of their shower cream, to give it a try.

E45 doesn't seem to be doing the trick any more.

I'll let you know how I get on!

The Elave shower gel is really good!

I recommend it too.

I sometimes avoid the dreaded 'Sodium Laureth sulphate', it's in everything! But you can find shampoo without it. It's is apparently a respiritory irritant, as well as contributing to skin missery.

Also like hemp cream for eczema, it just seems to work for me

personally I swear by doublebase and recommend it to many of the mums i see but as also tend to pick up freebies of several creams etc tend top give them to my brandad to try b4 he goes and tell his gp thats what he wants#
