lack of energy !!!

Why do we feel so tired when having a bad time ?

Trying so hard not to take my steroids but SOB and inflamed and tired.

Had a Sofa day today !!! x pain in chest and back x

Aww, Glynis I am sorry you are having such a rough time of it at the moment.

having asthma is hard work - i know low oxygen levels, salbutamol, steroids, work of breathing and infection in general leaves you feeling exhausted - so hope you're not letting yourself get too poorly before getting checked out!

Hope you feel better soon! It is knackering not being able to breathe properly as you seem to use up so much energy doing something that should come naturally. GP asked me about it back when I first went on the medication, said he'd expect all the effort to make me tired. Other GP said similar thing months ago when I went to her with sore ribs - said it was usually an exercise injury but the effort of breathing seemed to have had the same effect as vigorous exercise.

Got in see doc get checked out again.Ended up last weekend at out of hours doc Saturday nigh for same problem.Still the same after a week. Can start steroids as on repeat but getting checked over.

Back on the smarties ggrr! No infection. Asthma bad causing pain and inflamation in lungs ,back and ribs. SOB. resting up now.12 puffs of reliever every 4 hours also on my asthma chart.
